From Elect Romney in 2008

With less than two weeks left to Election Day, Governor Mitt Romney is encouraging you to get involved to help your local Republican candidates.

“Voter turnout will be key to Republican victories at all levels,” Romney said. “I would encourage everyone to play their part today by knocking on doors and making phone calls. By doing these activities, you can make a real difference this election season.”

The Commonwealth PAC noted that a great way to get involved is through the Republican National Committee’s volunteer website.

From here you can find out how to best walk your neighborhood, make phone calls, and encourage your friends and neighbors to vote this election season.

Addendum:

Thank You so much Mike for posting this. Yes, it is very important to get active in GOTV (Get Out The Vote) efforts in your state. We need to energize our base for the final push toward election day. All these polls keep stating that Republicans are going to lose big on election day. We need to make sure that doesn’t happen. We need to make the calls, ring the bells, and let Republicans know what’s at stake if we don’t all get out and vote. Do we want a Speaker Pelosi? Majority Leader Reid? Just think of all the issues that can be affected so greatly by such drastic changes. One such issue is Supreme Court Justices, what if Justice Stevens happened to retire in the next two years? Would we want a Senate in Democratic control which could cast aside any new Bush nominee? Please Republican voters get out and vote, just think of the alternatives if you don’t.
